Me before mine and Eddie's match with Caleb and Lethal |
Tonight was RTX's 4th annual
Lost Minds pay-per-view event. A double main event was featured. First, Charlotte Muharsky challenged Brooke Wylde for the Divas' Championship in a Last Diva Standing Match. Wylde had defeated Charlotte for the Divas' Championship in a controversial fashion at our live show taped February 5 (aired February 13), and Charlotte looked to dethrone Brooke to capture the title back. With Hailey Von Erich and Rayne Sky, both representing the Beautiful People, at her side, Charlotte gained an early advantage by sicking the BP on Brooke. The BP's assist didn't last, however, as Kailyn, and Charlotte's sister Victoria ran down and chased the BP away, allowing Brooke to capitalize with a swinging neckbreaker on the floor. When Charlotte was able to get up, Brooke pulled out a table. She tried to jump onto Charlotte and put her through the table, but Charlotte countered and slammed Brooke onto the steel steps. Showing her vicious side, Charlotte slammed Brooke with a chair while Brooke was on the steps. Victoria and Kailyn tried to interfere, but Charlotte dove from the top rope onto them. Charlotte struck Brooke with the ring bell again, then planted Brooke through the commentators' table with her sitting Pedigree. Brooke never answered the count and it gave Charlotte her second Divas' Championship. After the match Kailyn attacked the new champion but Victoria attacked Kailyn and joined her sister as a unit. The second main event was a tag match for the RTX Championship and the RTX World Heavyweight Championship, as me (RTX World Champ) and Eddie (RTX Champ) defended our titles against Caleb and Jay Lethal. The ending of this match nobody saw coming, but more on that later. The match started off very fast-paced. Eddie and Chris had been wanting revenge for months on Lethal and Caleb. At this point the rivalry between Chris, Caleb and Eddie had been going once since the June 20, 2015, episode of RTX Xtreme, so immediately Chris speared Caleb in the ring as Eddie and Lethal tumbled outside. Being as crafty as he is, Lethal low-blowed Eddie and delivered Lethal Injection on the floor. When Chris saw what Lethal had done to his boyfriend the shirt was ripped off and Chris somersaulted over the top onto Lethal. Clearly losing it, Chris picked up the stairs and threw them at Lethal. Chris got back into the ring and nailed Caleb with the steps. Then came the insane laugh Chris let out, showing his true character. Chris laid Caleb's head on the steps and went up top. Lethal was amazingly able to recover and shove Chris through a table outside. Caleb brought Chris back in and Lethal hit the Lethal Combination right onto the steps for a close two count. Lethal put Chris's head inside a steel chair and grabbed another chair. As Lethal leaned over to lift the chair up, Eddie flew down from the heavens with a foot stomp to his back. Later on as Chris attempted another Air Psycho, Caleb crotched him on the top rope. Eddie tried a standing hurricanrana but Caleb powerbombed him and tried to pin Eddie with his feet on the ropes. Chris broke it up with a Air Psycho (Swanton) to Caleb's back. Again he got a two. Chris turned right into Lethal Injection onto a steel chair from Lethal. When Lethal got to two, the lights went out. When they came back on, The Young Bucks, who had not been seen in RTX since
World on Fire 2014, were behind Lethal, hitting him with a double superkick. The fans were going crazy as Matt and Nick then delivered the Indy Taker to Caleb on the steel steps and dragged Eddie over onto Caleb, allowing Chris and Eddie to get the victory to retain the titles. Chris and Eddie then "too sweeted" with the Bucks, and the Bucks announced that the Bullet Club were back!
